Was driving home from a birthday party to Chiesa's home for gathering. These happy gathering would have made me happy. But what made me happier was the silly games we played during our 30min drive. We counted the traffic light in Mandarin (first time Evan heard about Mandarin :)) And Evan was trying to pronounce it, but ended up all sounding very very funny.
十一 = 洗衣
十三 = 洗衫 (then we went off to say 洗杯, 洗頭, 洗面 :P)
十五 = 水'wu' (water bottle)
Both him and Avery were laughing hysterically at their pronunciation. It was so cute. Happy!

Day 9
Spent a day at home without any plans today. It was nice to get a chance to relax at home. Happy!

Day 8
We went to Christmas market tonight, and despite it was a little crazy at times, I was able to keep reminding myself to enjoy the atmosphere (which was very nice). :) We got some yummy shortbread, hot chocolate, and some cute glass souvenirs. We had a nice family photo in front of the huge Christmas tree. We were in line to buy chocolates, to realize they were giving samples out for free! (a few for us to try and 7 per person to-go! :)) We also inherited a ticket for the parking so we didn't have to pay. Free stuff certainly make people happy. Happy!

Day 6
Went for a facial tonight and received a Christmas present from Winnie. Now that presents all go to the kids, it make me so happy to receive a gift. Happy!
Day 5
Happy anniversary to my hun and me! We wedded on this day in 2007, which means it was ... 8 years ago. Yes. I need to calculate because I can never remember. My day was pretty much same as usual. Ka and I went for a dinner at night, and then went to buy some spoons for the kids. But it still felt good because life is good.

Day 4
Had a great design feedback session today, talking to a customer who could articulate her points very well. :) Always love it when you heard the direct feedback from users.
Day 3
Evan shared with me how a classmate called him the "bad guy". Why did I find happiness about it? Because I asked to him respond with a laugh "heh heh heh". He thought it was funny and seemed to think that was a good solution too.

Project Happpy launched!
I am a pretty positive person, but yet, we often let happy things slip by, without really cherishing them and without being thankful enough. This is a bit of a random initiative. I just happen to see this "Happiness" diary the other day, and so wanted to get it. But instead of investing $20, I want to see how far I will carry on with this exercise first. So, day 1, here we go.
There were many things that I was happy about, of course, like Evan taking initiative to lead Avery and us into games; Ka did the dishes and laundry before I even knew about it; we went to pick out a Christmas tree, and that our family shared a box of 10 assorted timbits.
But if I really wanted to pick one happy event that happened today, I will share that I was happy that we got a little green plant. The plant is sitting in our kitchen. I don't really know why, but I am just happy to see the plant sitting there.
